  2. Great dish! Why not upload your cookery video for the Tropical Sun Cook Of The Year competition? The winner gets their recipes published in a cookbook and you can win an Apple iPad. There’s a video about the competition at YouTube/TropicalSunFoods.

  6. Just because a dish is low in calories doesn’t mean it’s healthy. You can burn calories, you can’t burn the crap they put in those processed foods like cool whip. Buy some whipping cream and add 10 – 15 minutes to your exercise routine when you do.

  20. Diethealth, Strawberry Parfait is delicious and appetizing. You can never be denied the opportunity to try this dessert. Just one quick note- be sure to use whipping cream that doesn’t contain transfat- hydrogenated oils. Cool whip is one example that does contain hydrogenated oil- you can find that out just by reading the label. I hope this helps you to make a well informed decision on finding a healthy ingredient to use in your Strawberry Parfait.

  25. I think you would benefit more by using low-fat yogurt. Less calories than cool-whip right?
