Nice and healthy recipe! This would be nice in a large glass bowl (trifle bowl) and layering each ingredient. It would be a nice presentation for a party.

Use Newman’s Southwest dressing just like McDonalds. It is the best!

but doesn’t the darker ones taste less good than pale ones? It’s so much crispier

I think it’s super important to remind viewers that the darker the lettuce leaves, the more vitamins and minerals. I’m going to make this with a spring mix
Thanks for all of these wonderful videos!

this looks really good, like the ready-made salads i buy at trader joes. i’ll definetly try this instead of buying 1 plate of salad for 4 bucks!

soybeans are terrible for you, they put fake estrogens in your body and can throw off your weight. If you don’t believe it google it, and also check ungroundwellness a youtube director, hes a fitness / diet instructor

Is melted cheese really that healthy? It seemed like more than 300cals? Hmm

Cool, thanks Sarah. Maybe sharing some of his vegetarian tips could be a possible future video
I usually substitute lentils or soy or even eggs (I’m not vegan) for chicken or any meat, but hearing what Stephen has to say would be great!

I just had this for lunch and it was SO GOOD! I only used baby spinach, black beans, corn(i cut off the cob), cheese, grilled onions and with salsa and ranch as the dressing!
Thanks for this recipe!

What does Stephen suggest for vegetarians?
Comment by StickItOutTillTheEnd — June 2, 2010 @ 11:41 pm
i like morningstar but if Stephen our fitness expert is not a fan of them – he says just eat real chicken.
