Low-Calorie High-Protein After Workout Recipe/How-To

TOTAL MEAL 3 chicken strips 4 mushrooms 8 spears asparagus 2 Tbsp (about) olive oil Peppers, Pepper Seasoning to Taste Total Calories: 230 The more oil, the more calories. I didn’t eat most of the oil (that which didn’t cover the chicken and mushrooms was thrown away). It’s not the healthiest meal ever (fried) but the calories and carbs are really low, and I’ll be full all night! Always, I drink at least 16 oz of water as well. Sometimes I’ll follow this up with a salad but I was just too full this evening ;) Happy healthy eating! antishay.wordpress.com

  21. LOL! I’m italian (from Puglia, the best olives in THE WHOLE WORLD!) and i produce extra-virgin oil from my trees. Bertolli is not good oil :-) But i understand that i’m really lucky in this.
Good meal and good girl. :)

  22. Not really. Seeds oil has a lower fire point (around 180° C) and so it’s more toxic than EVO. The EVO fire point is around 330° C, so you can heat it but you have to beware of too much high temp. Anyway, EVO is always better, because of its flavoinoids and because it’s rich in OMEGA3, which stimulates glucagon and testo. But when you’ve to fry something, EVO is heavier, so it’s preferred to use seeds oil. Even better if you don’t use fried food, prefer oven or steam cooked. :-)
